Rachel: I am a high school math specialist. I teach two sections of Honors Algebra 2. As a high school math teacher, my goal is to create opportunities for students to grow their mathematical understanding. I want to help students invest in their learning process by guiding them to make decisions based on mathematics and to create their own original, meaningful work. To accomplish this goal I am always looking for new ideas from other teachers in my building and on social media. I love using technology, specifically Desmos, as tools to help students discover new concepts and demonstrate their knowledge with their own creations.
